Deva Flamenco

Deva Flamenco is a voluntary group who promote the appreciation of flamenco music and dance in and around Chester - Cheshire, Wirral, Merseyside, North Wales.

We offer weekly flamenco dance classes for children and adults as well as special workshops.

Our flamenco shows include theatre performances, informal dance events and dancing in Spanish restaurants.

We also give presentations on the history of flamenco and fun workshops at schools, care homes and community groups.

How about booking our "Flamenco is fun" workshop for your hen party or corporate get-together?

Each year we organise visits to Spain so that our students can experience flamenco in its true setting.

Maria del Mar from Malaga will be giving workshops in technique and choreography ( Solea) at beginners and improvers levels on July 3rd, 4th and 5th - followed by an Informal Pena.

We have been invited to take part in the International Folk Dance Festival at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Carmarthenshire, on Saturday 11th July.
