Deva Flamenco

Deva Flamenco

Deva Flamenco is a voluntary group established in 1997 who promote the appreciation of flamenco music and dance in and around Chester - Cheshire, Wirral, Liverpool, Merseyside, North Wales.

We offer flamenco dance classes on Tuesdays in Chester as well as special workshops in flamenco dance and Sevillanas.

Our flamenco shows include theatre performances, informal dance events and dancing in Spanish restaurants.

We also give presentations on the history of flamenco as well as fun dance workshops and talks at schools, care homes and social groups. For details see our community page.

How about booking our "Flamenco is fun" workshop for your hen party or corporate get-together?

NEWS
Thanks to everyone who made our Dance Fiesta on 3rd April such a success.

No class on the Tuesday after Easter - April 26th. (Otherwise classes every Tuesday as usual.)

In July 2011, Maria del Mar, "Chachi", from Malaga will give dance workshops in Chester and dance at a show with us. We are very grateful for a grant from Western Cheshire NHS for Maria to give "taster" flamenco workshops to adults and children with disabilities in Western Cheshire as well as to the wider community in Chester.
